Completion of the RV Return Form is mandatory for a deposit dispersal, so don’t skip this step! When your guest returns with your RV, take the time to walk through the vehicle and record any damage that may have occurred during the rental period.
Do a comprehensive review of the interior, exterior, undercarriage, and roof. Though you have 48 hours to report damages to Outdoorsy, recording any damage at this point (so the guest can sign-off on the document) will help avoid a claims dispute. Taking photos of your rig to document any existing damage before and after every trip is necessary to handle a claims dispute should one arise.
Our return form covers the following steps:
- Damage Walkthrough
- Review Conditional Add-On Fees
- Sign-off & Signatures
Once all steps are completed, both you and the primary guest must sign off on the form.
To submit a claim, you’ll need:
- Pre-trip and post-trip photos
- RV Departure and Return forms for your RV type
- Drivable RV Departure form
- Drivable RV Return form
- Towable RV Departure form
- Towable RV Return form
Make sure to upload the photos to the Outdoorsy app and have both forms completed and signed.
