So you’re on the road, having a blast in the rig you rented from Outdoorsy, and you’re itching to extend your trip?
Or maybe your Outdoorsy trip hasn’t started yet, but you’ve decided you want to extend your trip because you can never have enough s’more-tastic fun?
Sweet! In either of these cases, we make it super easy to request a trip extension.
If you are in the middle of your Outdoorsy rental and want to extend your trip, simply reach out to the RV host and as long as the host agrees to extend, you can request your date changes from the app. Once the host approves the change, you’ll be all set.
If, on the other hand, you want to extend or cancel your trip before it starts, you’d want to first contact the RV host to let them know what’s up. If you’re asking for a trip extension and the host agrees, you or the host can then click on the trip in your Outdoorsy dashboard and click Change your dates. Once the new dates are approved, you’re good to go.

Note! If you suggest new dates from your dashboard, the RV host will still have to approve the request on their end before your date change becomes official. If the host suggests new dates from their account, you will likewise have to approve the date change on your side before it becomes official. You will receive a confirmation once the date change is complete.
